How've you been? Great, i hope.
i missed a good first part of "我要唱下去" but thank God for youtube and gtqueen (getai queen? fan of getai and BBJM, i suppose) who uploaded it soooooo fast. Actually, when i heard the trailer mention getai singers, i did SUSPECT that BBJM might appear but the trailer never feature you two leh - only Ruping jie and Haohao... Hmmm... i just got out of the bath when i heard Mark Lee mention BBJM and as fast as my lazy legs could carry me, i dashed for my specs and threw myself in front of the TV. Talking about legs, why why why Ruping jie's legs like so skinny one??? She very cute leh. Her expressions and when she went "ah" each time Mark Lee suan-ed her. And she said "wo yao fang qi" with such gusto. Hahaha...
i got to know an Indian friend (from India) recently and am thinking if got chance, would bring him go watch getai and of course, BBJM sometime.
There are quite a number of songs i've never heard of and only learnt of through watching and listening to BBJM's performances on youtube. After yahoo-searching/googling and listening to the original singers' renditions, i still prefer BBJM's version, honestly. Like hua hee tio ho, xiang xie da dao... not to say the original singers sing no good lah.
You looked great in the show so i think i can conclude you've been very fine (though erm, the show was probably shot a while back). And i just thought of Mark Lee asking if you two are twins. Then your sis replied no but came from the same mother's womb. And Mark Lee went on to ask... "from the same father?"... which brought to memory the time i watched you two at Jalan Bahar. The PRC (i assume) auntie who so nicely sheltered me with her umbrella (though i never asked let alone begged her to... ok, she was too kind for me) asked me if you two are twins. To which i replied no and went on to add "the one on the left is the elder sister." i think she thought i didn't understand her Mandarin and probably she didn't understand my Mandarin so she repeated her question and i repeated my answer. But then, i thought to myself "wah biang, twins also got elder and younger one mah." i should have just said no and shut my trap. Anyway, it's obvious you two ain't twins leh. Maybe she forgot to put on her specs.
PS: i used to kind of think your sis "looked more chio". i think i just changed my mind. Erm and i hope your sis never reads this. But anyway, she also don't know me lah. =P What's with the song? Reflection of your heart then, and now??? =)
And congrats for winning the Stomp's Best Costume Award. See? i told you before BBJM's costumes are nice and fattening... flattening... err i mean flattering... =P except any feather-related. (i just don't like feathers lah) =P
